Despite the temperatures in some countries in Europe, Summer is nearly there. Many people will be leaving soon for their deserved annual leave looking to indulge themselves at the beach. Others will prefer to visit museums, walk in foreign cities or subscribe to summer courses. But, unless you are a teacher, you will have to spend some time at your office/business trying to make yourself busy (providing that you do not work in a summer resort hotel).

Companies and small business sometimes do not see the opportunity that his quarter bring to them. Q3 is the moment when you can implement new products, processes and actions because it is the most relax time of the year. Your website should not be an exception to this rule.

It is more than probable that visits to your site will decrease during this quarter. People will spend less time on internet. They will check their emails, have a look at their friends photos and maybe check a bit the newspaper (not too much). So if you manage to maintain your traffic on the same lines than the previous quarter then you could consider that a success. If your business is old enough compare your stats with previous Q3 to see in which direction you are going.

Q3 is a time for testing. We have said many times than one of the key elements for a website success is testing. Change your landing pages, refresh content, move things around, try new tools, etc… Therefore Q3 is probably one of the best periods to make these changes in a lower scale. This mini tests will be able to identify good practices that you could implement during Q4.

Finally, this is the perfect time to implement new sales channels. Christmas is already around the corner so if you sell products and you still do not have an online shop this is the perfect time of the year to implement it. Three months is more than enough time to implement a new top class online shop (at least is for us!). So think in all these tools an functionalities that you always wanted to add to your website, make a list and leave us the hard work ;-).

By the end of Q3 you will be ready for the most important quarter of the year.
